FAST – The Coolest Cooling Shirt

F.A.S.T. is the original “Blue Tube Shirt” and the industry leader in cooling and comfort. Our premium shirts have over 50 feet of small capillary water tubing on the front and back, we separate the shirt into 4 equal cooling zones for maximum coverage. Each shirt has two medical grade connectors that connect to our cooling system. F.A.S.T. offers more tubing per shirt than any other manufacturer and is designed to work in conjunction with HANS devices and other mandated safety devices.

All F.A.S.T. shirts are machine washable! Keep the laundry bag you received with your shirt for cleaning. You can use the detergent of your choice, wash on Delicate Cycle and hang to dry.

We do not recommend draining the water out of the tubes. We do recommend keeping them clean by running a half cup of bleach (mixed with a full cooler of water) to the cooler, attach the water hoses and shirt and run the entire system for several cycles. This will ensure that all components (tubing, connectors, pump) are clean.

We have created the COOLEST SHIRT in racing! We start with a wicking fabric, made for us without Spandex or Nylon and style it with a compression, athletic fit complete with our 50 feet of tubing sewn into 4 cooling quadrants on the core. There is no other shirt like it on the market!

We recommend keeping the cooler; water hoses and shirt clean by running a half cup of regular laundry bleach (mixed with a full cooler of water) to the cooler, attach the water hoses and shirt and run the entire system for several cycles. This will ensure that all components (tubing, connectors, pump) are clean. After cleaning, leave the lid of the cooler open until completely dry.

There is no need to purchase any special cleaning solution. Regular Clorox ™ laundry bleach is the perfect cleaning solution for your entire system. F.A.S.T. FA1220A is an adjustable timer that allows you to run it ‘full on’ or dial it back for days when you need to ration your ice time. If you have a long race and want to extend the life of your ice, run the timer at the far right of the dial (that slows it to run every couple of minutes). When you want to have the cooler run constantly, keep the dial toward the left (just after you hear it click on).

13 Quart – 15” x 10” x 11”

19 Quart – 16.6” x 11” x 13”

Our coolers are best used with a mounting pan (foam and strap), but we have seen them worked strapped into passenger seats for ease of use.

Duration of ice is based on many factors… Inside temperature. ambient temperature, even the size of the driver. Best way to keep your cooler going for hours is to build blocks of ice (use sandwich containers, stack and freeze, open and stack in cooler), fill in spaces with cubes or pieces and add just enough water to cover the pump.

FAST Helmet Conversions/Revisions

We have worked on all major auto helmet brands, but we are always open to a new challenge. Helmet styles are ever changing, but we are always improving ways to bring air to any full face helmet.

Due to the restrictions in place for SNELL testing, we are only able to make modifications to the “chin bar” piece of the helmet. We specialize in left side air on most helmets. Please contact us if you have an Arai helmet, we have a noninvasive top air piece that is legal with all sanctioning bodies.

Yes, a properly channeled air helmet (with FAST blower attached) should reduce or eliminate shield fogging.

Depending on the season, we need the helmet anywhere from 1-4 days. Please call us to confirm that you are shipping it to us and we can let you know how long the line is.

FAST Air Blowers

The most important things to consider are size, weight, power and mounting location. Good rule of thumb is… Dirt racing needs the “bell” housing or “cone” filter, where asphalt racing allows for the “remote intake” with a naca duct.

  • Inline blower –2.6 amps
  • 105 CFM – 4.3 amps
  • 150 CFM – 6.8 amps

Our blowers, air systems and cool suit systems are made for 12V batteries.

We recommend taking the filter out after an event and using an air compressor to blow off all the residual dirt. Our filters are paper (non oiled) and will break down when replacement is needed. Remember to always get a new filter for the beginning of the season, regardless of how your old one looks.

Our filters are located below the bell housing or under the top hood on the remote intake. They can be unscrewed and removed to clean off (do not get wet).
